Pima Acres is located in North Scottsdale, tucked between the northern and southern neighborhoods of DC Ranch and just east of the Grayhawk community. Homes offer beautiful mountain views because of the proximity to the McDowell Mountains. The neighborhood consists of 140 home sites and is known for its low density housing because lot sizes start at a minimum of an acre. Pima Acres is a custom home community with the first homes built in 1993. Home sizes range from 2,400 to over 8,000 square feet, with new builds continuing today.
Pima Acres is in an ideal location to enjoy the many amenities provided by the surrounding neighborhoods. Market Street, Canyon Village and DC Ranch Crossing are three shopping centers at the DC Ranch community that offers upscale retail stores and restaurants. More shopping and dining can be found at the popular Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarters shopping centers that are only 15 min away. The Thompson Peak Park in Grayhawk offers an assortment of outdoor enjoyment with tennis courts, basketball courts, softball/baseball/soccer fields, volleyball courts and playgrounds. There are plenty of golf courses around the area, from the courses offered at Silverleaf Country Club, Grayhawk Golf Club and TPC Scottsdale, just to name a few.
Schools: The community is within Scottsdale Unified School District, with children attending Copper Ridge for K-8th and Chaparral for high school. Notre Dame Preparatory High School is a private high school that is only minutes away.
